   I like the homily reflection… But the image & quote don’t seem to coincide with the Gospel…??

      Yes, I see what you mean. The practical application is on petitionary prayer. That’s what the man born blind did: he asked to see. His petition is a good one for all of us–to see God, to see ourselves as we really are, and to see others as God sees them.
